A child sleep coach specialises in the sleep behaviour of babies and children and helps parents get their children to sleep better (again). Some children sleep wonderfully since birth and others need help with this. Sometimes a few tools, tips and tricks are enough for better sleep and sometimes a tailor-made plan is the best option.

A sleep coach supports you in this phase. Through a comprehensive intake form, we map out the family situation and make a tailor-made plan. We look beyond sleep. The rhythm, the daily routine, nutrition and the weekly schedule are all taken under the microscope to achieve the best result: everyone rested for the day! 95% of families have significantly better and more sleep after 2 weeks!
We can help you with all types of sleep problems. Think frequent waking at night, not being able to fall asleep without help, waking up very early, refusing to sleep during the day etc.
We are broadly trained at the Family Sleep Institute (FSI) and work with various proven effective methods for children aged 0 to 6 years. We find a suitable solution for every family and every problem. Depending on the problem, the age of the child and the family situation, we look at what suits you best. In this way, we work in a healthy and loving way on more and better sleep for now and in the future.
We always start first with a short introductory meeting of about 15 minutes. Then we discuss the problem and see what is needed to help you. You will then receive a questionnaire that forms the basis for the intake. During the intake, we go into detail about your child's sleep, family situation, rhythm, routine, etc. After the intake, you will receive a tailor-made sleep plan that you can work with. In the two or three weeks following the start of the sleep programme, depending on the package, you will receive feedback daily or several times a week for the best possible end result.
This varies enormously, sometimes after just 2 days, sometimes it takes a bit longer. Often, the older the child, the longer it takes, because certain habits are ingrained longer than in a baby. But after the first week you can often already see an improvement!

From when your child is 5 or 6 months to around 6 years.
Do you have earlier sleep questions? Then we have a newborns consultation, in which we go into detail about your baby's sleep and explain what you can already do in those first months to create a good foundation for healthy sleep.
No, we will never ask you to make your baby cry. We will think with you which method best suits your needs and upbringing. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be no tears. For babies and children, this is their only form of communication.
Absolutely! We usually work with video calls, so it doesn't matter where you live! We work with Dutch-speaking and English-speaking families, worldwide!
