Before sleep training, our baby woke up several times every night which meant we had hardly slept through any night after birth. After an intake where sleep patterns were discussed in detail, we created a sleep plan together which led to positive results immediately. After 1-2 nights, our baby was already sleeping through. Marian was easy to reach for questions in between and gave detailed daily tips on how to improve sleep at night and during the day. All in all, we were very satisfied with the (expert) support and the results.

Our 6-month-old son slept very badly both during the day and at night. He often woke up at night and only slept a few hazy naps during the day. As we didn't know how to break this, we opted for sleep coaching. After a nice intake, Marian drew up a sleep plan for us. She took our personal situation into account when drawing up the sleep plan, which was very nice. The sleep plan helped us structure our day and keep it that way. Besides the sleep plan, we had daily contact with Marian and received tips on how to deal with different situations. Much sooner than expected, his sleeping both during the day and at night improved a lot and he even slept through the night. Beforehand, we didn't think we could achieve so much in a fortnight. Even after the sleep coaching, we managed to keep the rhythm which made us all sleep better. All in all, a super pleasant experience with sleep coaching and incredibly happy with the results we achieved.

We were assigned to Marian as part of our company's benefit. Our daughter started her sleep training at 5.5 months, however she got sick and we had to stop and resume again at 6 months. Marian was really accommodating and patient with us, given that we are new parents and everything is unfamiliar to us. She prepared a clear plan to follow and guided us step-by-step. It was a collaborative work between us and she is very considerate of our preferences and was flexible. She is firm when it needs to be and celebrated with us on every small progress. After 2 weeks of sleep coaching, she has learned to soothe herself to sleep, and has been happily sleeping through the night since then.

Our daughter, after starting with reflux and constipation, had a lot of trouble falling asleep on her own. The result was a daughter who only slept on or next to us and preferably in the sling. Marian knew exactly what we would have to work on and came up with a plan we could fully support. Because we changed our minds and because Marian has a good way of communicating (concrete, clear, direct), we managed to get our daughter to sleep through the night within a few days. We ended up with Marian for our daughter aged over 6 months. The biggest problems we encountered were: not being able to fall asleep on her own, causing hours of crying and rocking. During the day, she only did very short naps and at night she woke up +- every 2 hours and only went back to sleep after feeding. Marian guided us very well and really tailored to our situation and family. Our daughter was very persistent and didn't make it easy for us, but Marian didn't give up and kept courage and gave us courage again. Marian guided us until the need for help was resolved and we felt confident that we could do it ourselves. Sleep training is tough and you really have to get behind it! Without Marian we certainly wouldn't have lasted, we are very grateful for her guidance and are confident that we have been given good tools for the future. Should the need arise, we will certainly not hesitate to ask Marian for advice again. It is definitely worth the investment!

Our 10-month-old baby woke up about 4-5x a night. Feeding was the norm and although we knew these were clear sleep associations, we were not managing to break them. These nights were not only impacting our relationship but also functioning at work. Through our lactation consultant, we came to Marian. She set out a clear plan and we could go to her with all our questions for a fortnight. In addition, she monitored his sleep via a sleep log and so we managed to break the vicious circle, resulting in a baby who gets his hours during the day and sleeps much better at night. Marian is also that big stick for when you are close to despair, don't understand anything and don't know what to do anymore. She reassures you and makes you understand what your baby's sleep behaviour means. All in all, a good experience and also looking to the future, we know how best to guide him to better sleep.

Our daughter always slept super well until she hit 4 months. She slept only at the breast in my arms during the day and in my bed at night, then she was fed to sleep, waking up about 8+ times a night. Marian created a schedule for all 3 of us based on our needs. Full of good spirits and a little excitement, we went into the process, I assumed the worst myself so it could only be better than expected. The first night went like Marian said, not without crying but still a lot better than I thought, she slept for 4 hours straight! This hadn't happened for a long time, the second night she slept through the night. A dream come true! Marian coached us and we coached our daughter. The collaboration with Marian was super, Marian is super spontaneous, thoughtful and open. How happy we are that we got our nights together back, that I can take up my hobbies again and that I also sleep well at night. She still sleeps great now (3 months later), 2 predictable naps and the nights nicely 12 hours in a row! She is even happier and more energetic, we never expected her to sleep through and do so well so soon. Thanks so much Marian, we really recommend it to anyone with a poorly sleeping baby!

We started the sleep coaching programme because our 7-month-old son kept waking up around the same time at night and we would sometimes spend hours with him. It was hard for us to put our finger on why he was waking up at night. After a tailor-made plan for our son and a few small adjustments, he slept through the night from the very first night! What worked well for us was a consistent approach and a plan that we can use in case he still wakes up at night. Also very nice to get feedback for three weeks on how we do things. The result is a happy child who now sleeps through the night and rested parents!

Our daughter woke up about 4 or 5 times and then could only continue sleeping if she was breastfed. Fine sleep coach course followed for three weeks in total: we got a tailor-made plan for our little son and with a few adjustments, he slept through the nights. Actually, there was an immediate result! During the programme, we received very nice guidance from Nienke, who gave us daily feedback and helped us if we ran into problems. In short, highly recommended if you have sleeping problems with your little one and don't know what to do.

Our 9-month-old son still woke up twice a night on average and then basically only slept again after breastfeeding. He didn't seem tired during the day, but there was also little rhythm in his naps. Marian helped us tremendously to bring more structure to this by creating clarity and insight into what a good sleeping rhythm is. Our son now sleeps regularly and breastfeeding during the night is no longer necessary. During the day, we know exactly how to handle his naps. From negative sleep associations (dummy, rocking to sleep, feeding 3 times at night) to falling asleep independently and no more night feeds (within two weeks). We have been very happy with Marian's guidance and commitment during the sleep process. Our then 6-month-old daughter had not been the best sleeper since birth and this only seemed to get worse. She often woke up almost every hour during the night and had a strong association with breastfeeding before going to sleep. We almost never managed to sleep in her own bed. Together with Marian, we made a plan for sleeping. This felt right from the start. It took some getting used to for us and our little daughter, but we have made huge strides. She now sleeps all her naps in her cot and does this completely independently. She still wakes up occasionally in the night, but this is nothing compared to what it was before. Our daughter slept very badly both during the day and at night + we were in the middle of a possible transition from 2 to 1 naps during the day. During the night, she woke up an average of 5-8 times and often didn't fall back asleep right away which meant we had such broken nights that we got really desperate and called for help. After the intake with Marian, we were enthusiastic about her and her plan of action but still sceptical that this would then really change the sleeping behaviour. We had a tough 1.5 weeks and were definitely on the verge of giving up a few times. Fortunately, we received daily feedback on our sleep log, so we persevered anyway and with the wonderful result: she slept through after 1.5 weeks! Of course thereafter with some ups and downs but after 3 weeks we can confidently say that she almost always sleeps 2 hours at lunchtime and sleeps from 18:30 - 6:30 and that we can just put her in her bed without her immediately starting to scream or stand up or not knowing what to do with herself. She has learned how to get herself to sleep and calm down and no longer has violent associations with her cot. GOODBYE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS!

Our 14-month-old daughter slept in bed with us and could not fall asleep on her own. We didn't think this was a problem for a long time until our nights really started to suffer. It was quite exciting to start sleep coaching, but it has been the best decision and worth all the money. Marian made a very good sleep plan based on a comprehensive intake and really applicable to our situation. She is very knowledgeable and has a nice down-to-earth way of coaching. The clarity of this plan and the coaching every day were so nice and had very quick results. Actually, it was only 1.5 days and then our daughter understood how to fall asleep by herself. And so from then on she sleeps through the night! An outcome we really didn't dare hope for. I would recommend these great sleep coaches to anyone struggling with sleep!

Marian has helped us tremendously with sleep training for our 3 kids: daughter of almost 5 and the twins, who are just 3. Our bedtime routine is now more structured and clearly gives us and the kids more peace and quiet. The 3 kids sleep together in the same room because they like that. But falling asleep didn't always go well because of this. Now it's much better and calmer! They still wake up sometimes during the night, but now we know better the do's and don'ts, in general but also specifically for our kids. Highly recommended for a relaxed evening and a better night!

We thought we had done everything and that our toddler was just a bad sleeper. We always had to stay with him until he finally fell asleep. We set to work with a clear approach, we got daily feedback and the evening ritual went more and more smoothly. With occasional tough nights. Nienke coached us to persevere and had plenty of time for our questions. The result is a pleasant evening ritual, he sleeps through the night and is happy and rested in the morning.

Our youngest daughter slept very badly from baby onwards. Naps during the day were short and in the evenings falling asleep took very long and once she was asleep she would wake up several times a night. Prior to sleep training, we were quite sceptical. We ourselves thought we were fairly consistent, that we had enough pedagogical knowledge and did not expect that this training would really give new insights. After all, the CJG, the GP, paediatrician, child psychologist had also already looked in and given advice regarding sleeping. And yet this sleep training was very valuable! By really being on the same page as parents, delving into the details and daily feedback, our daughter started sleeping through. After 2/3 weeks of coaching, she still didn't sleep through completely but the evenings were a lot calmer. When the coaching was over, we continued to apply the knowledge and we can say that both evenings and nights are all calming down. Our daughter sleeps through!

Sleeping in our daughter (almost 2 years old) was getting worse and had different patterns. She would wake up in the night wanting attention and would not rest until we had been with her and out of bed for a while. It also seemed to become a game of nappy changing/too cold or too hot. We knew we were doing something wrong to give in to it, but how to change. After the introductory talk with Marian, we were able to get started right away. The result was there very quickly: after 2 terror nights and things quickly went in the right direction and she slept through quickly. We persevered and were consistent in our approach. No more difference between mum & dad and the same thing every time. For us, it has helped tremendously. I will immediately recommend Marian to other parents with the same or similar problem as well. Apart from being nice for our own sleep, we also notice that our daughter is happier.

Both our children slept very restlessly. Our 3-year-old daughter woke up very often during the night and would come out of bed to us. She also had difficulty falling asleep on her own. After several months and being overtired, we consulted Marian. After 3 days of sleep coaching, this got much better and now she sleeps through the night on average from 7 to 6. By being consistent, sticking to the plan and Marian's encouragement, it felt like the right thing to do and so things quickly got much better. Our son, aged 1, also woke up often and here too, the method offered helped with fine guidance.

My 2-year-old daughter and I had fallen into a pattern that she only wanted to sleep in the big bed together with me. She started screaming even if I only pointed to her own bed in her own room. I had read all kinds of things about sleeping myself and had also tried various things, but without success. I wanted both my daughter and me to sleep better again (and to get my evenings back!). We made a plan that suited (the character of) my daughter and me perfectly. With great confidence, we started working on the plan and it really worked incredibly quickly and well. My daughter now sleeps, in her own bed, like never before. I even have to wake her up in the morning - never thought I would ever have to. So, don't hesitate any longer and engage Marian or her colleague! Why keep muddling along by yourself when there are people who are super knowledgeable and experienced about this and can make a plan that suits your child and parent(s) exactly?

Our son did not sleep through from birth. We had already tried everything, but we couldn't get him to sleep through the night in his own room. After a pleasant intake interview with Marian, in which she explained the various methods, we opted for the 'standard sleep training' programme. It was very nice working with Marian. Marian sensed which method suited our family and helped us daily with tips and tricks. Our son slept much more peacefully after only a few days and thanks to the daily advice he now sleeps through the night. We recommend working with Marian to everyone; not only do you get more sleep, but also a very happy child in return.

We experienced our sleep process with our daughter as tough, but super positive 🙂 We had a little underestimated how intensive such a process could be in the first few days! Especially because although she always slept well, she always slept between us. We didn't want this anymore; we felt it was important to get a good night's sleep again & get our evenings back. After fine motivation & support from Nienke, this really worked out. We didn't expect this at all. Now we put our daughter in her own bed at 18.30 and she doesn't wake up again until 07.00! We would not have succeeded without Marian's help. A coach the KNVB would envy :). You hope you can figure it out yourself, but you lack the knowledge and ultimately the confidence. Marian drew up a clear plan and coached us tightly in it. The hardest part is sticking to it, especially when it takes time. Thanks to her encouragement and clear instructions, we were able to make great strides. The result: fewer broken nights, the little one to bed earlier and less struggle when putting her to bed. Main insight for us: if only we had done it earlier.
