General terms & conditions "Uitgerust de dag in"

 

The information and services provided by the child sleep consultants of "Uitgerust de dag in" (hereinafter: child sleep consultant) are for educational purposes and are not medical for an individual problem or a substitute for medical or other professional advice from a qualified medical specialist who is familiar with your medical history. Information and services are also not aimed at making a medical diagnosis or treatment. 

 

When signing the agreement, you also agree to share the medical condition of your child. It is your responsibility to rule out with the healthcare provider any underlying medical conditions that may cause sleep problems (including but not limited to sleep apnea, ear infections, allergies, asthma). This is to ensure that the healthcare provider has determined that your child is healthy, of sufficient weight and growth, and that it is appropriate to implement the sleep plan. You agree to notify the child sleep consultant of any medical changes during sleep training, as sleep training should not be performed unless the child has a healthy diagnosis from the healthcare provider.

 

All information and services are provided with the best intention and with the knowledge that the child sleep consultant has. The child sleep consultant is not liable for incorrect (or incomplete) or misinterpreted information from this information or services. The child sleep consultant will make reasonable efforts to include current and accurate information in consultations, or for the completeness of the information provided. This consultation may contain references to other materials and resources, but the child sleep consultant is not responsible for the content of such other references and shall not be liable for any damage or injury resulting from that content. All references provided by the child sleep consultant are provided solely for the convenience of the user.

 

The information and services are only intended for the specific client and are for personal use only. The information and services may not be shared with other parties or persons. All intellectual property rights of "Uitgerust de dag in" are protected.

 

The sleep plan contains recommendations and thus intended improvements in your child's sleeping behavior. However, it remains your own decision to apply these recommendations. A consistent and comprehensive approach will give the best results for improving your child's sleep.

 

Payment

  • The sleep plan is being send after the payment has been made.

  • You can cancel the assignment up to 48 hours prior to the intake. 

  • There will be no refund of the payment once the sleep plan has been sent. 

  • When the sleep training has been completed (after about 2 weeks), no refund will be given if not all time, emails or video calls have been used.

 

Execution of sleeptraining

  • When you agree to the assignment, you automatically agree to the General Terms and Conditions. These will be shared with you upon confirmation of the sleepcoaching program.

  • After the first video consultation you will receive a personal sleep plan via email within 72 hours, unless otherwise agreed.

  • After the intake, you start sleeping training within 1 week. After that, support availability cannot be guaranteed and a €50,- fee will be charged for any changes needed to the sleep plan.

  • Intermittent pausing of the training is only possible in consultation, the sleep training can be resumed later. The training can only be paused for a valid reason such as illness or force majeure. 

  • Both the child sleep consultant and the client can terminate the assignment / agreement at any time. There will be no (partial) refund of the payment. The child sleep consultant reserves the right to terminate the agreement if you break any of the terms of this agreement.

Parental involvement 

  • You understand that your commitment to this process is imperative to achieving improvement in your child's sleep. 

  • You take note of the current advice from the “Dutch Center for Youth Health” (NJC) regarding safe sleeping. (https://www.ncj.nl/europa.eu/guidelines/alle-guidelines/guideline/prevention-wiegendood) 

  • You understand that the child sleep consultant encourages and encourages updates from you, and that it is your responsibility to correspond. 

  • You promise to raise any concerns, doubts or confusion regarding the sleep plan that has been developed with the child sleep consultant as soon as possible so that you and the child sleep coach can address them constructively and work together to achieve the goals.

  • You understand that the child sleep consultant is generally available to answer questions on weekdays during business hours and on Saturdays as needed and that correspondence received at night, on public holidays and on weekends will generally be answered the next business day.

This privacy statement explains how the privacy and personal data of visitors to www.uitgerustdedagin.nl (hereinafter: the website) are handled. You will also find here how you can view, change or delete your data. The website is part of the company Sleepcoach Consultancy, with Chamber of Commerce number 90140540. The privacy statement applies to all products and services from the company.

Purpose and processing of personal data

The personal data that can be processed are the data that you provide to us yourself by making an (information) request or by using our services. These personal data are only used in the context of the services agreed with you and we only collect those data that we consider necessary or useful in that context. 
Below is an overview of the personal data that we process, among other things;

  • First and last name 

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Address details 

  • Telephone number 

  • E-mail address 

  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by correspondence and by telephone 

  • Information about your activities on our website 

  • Bank account number 

The personal data is processed for the following purposes: 

  • Handling of your payment 

  • Sending a newsletter 

  • To be communicated by phone, email or WhatsApp / SMS if this is necessary to be able to carry out our services 

  • To inform you about changes to our services and products

  • To deliver services to you

  • Processing of personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as information that we need for our tax return.

 

Minors

Our website and / or service do not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent.

 

Webhosting and email

This website is hosted by Hostnet. Personal data that you make available for my website will be shared with this party. Hostnet has access to this data to provide our website (technical) support, they will never use the data for any other purpose. Hostnet is obliged to take appropriate security measures on the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. In addition, regular backups are made to prevent data loss.

 

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small files with data that are stored on the hard drive of your computer, tablet or mobile phone when you visit the website. These cookies are used to make the website function better and to monitor the web visit, so that we can check how many people have visited the website in a certain period.

You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data by emailing info@uitgerustdedagin.nl. You will receive a response to your request as soon as possible, but in any case, within 4 weeks.
